Anca Gaston holds a PhD in Health Psychology from Western University and has worked as a university instructor, supervisor, tutor, and researcher in the public health field. Anca will be showing her newest film about the lifecycle of the tree swallow, the film focuses on a pair of tree swallows that nested in Brant Park during the spring of 2024 complemented by footage captured outside the box showing the birds’ behaviours and interactions, providing an intimate look at the process involved in making the film and what it is like to be a wildlife photographer. Brant For Nature's Owl Prowl invites everyone to put on their detective’s cap and become a keen-eyed owl observer. Participants will learn about local owl species, calls, behaviour, habitat requirements, and human impacts.
